I just noticed that the small glass tables adorning the office are the same small glass tables adorning my hotel room. It's possible that it's just a coincidence... But what if it isn't? What if it's by design?
Has somebody cornered the market on end tables in this area? How far does that empire extend? Are these lobbyists in the Philippine Senate pushing the agenda of particular furniture manufacturers?
I'm currently picturing a fat Filipino man in a white suit with a cigar saying, "Welcome to my Salcedo Village End Table Barony!" It's a good image, I think I'll hang onto it for a while.
